ABOUT
Amanda’s watercolor and ink illustrations tell stories with emotion and expression. Drawing and painting by hand, primarily directly from life, she is inspired by golden-age illustrators and figurative expressionism. Amanda holds an MFA from the New York Academy of Art, where she teaches figure drawing and human anatomy, and a BFA in illustration from Parsons School of Design. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and in 2023, her illustrations for LITTLE SPIRIT were long-listed for the World Illustration Awards. When not drawing, she loves to read or paddleboard with her beagle, Toast.
